sunday excursion...

so usually i work on sundays, teaching english and pottery. but seeing as most all my students were unavailable this sunday, i found it a great opportunity to go off with some friends on a little excursion...

we took off to incheon and wolmi-do. there was a little beach there, although i have to say that it was anti-climatic seeing as it was really a port beach (second largest in korea)

anyhow we went to the only Chinatown in Seoul, took the ferry to Wolmi-do where we went to the beach and took a bike ride. despite the heat it was good fun...

this is me in front of this cool old building in chinatown...

Fabien and his wooden sword...

Kim-Ju, Me and Fabien posing in front of the Incheon Rabbit Mascots...

a poster for a childrens' musical, "Who poo'd on my head?"

Ju and Hanbi on the tandem...

Ju and Fabien taking a break...

Dinner!

and because our friend Fabien is returning back to France after a year in Seoul, we ended the day by celebrating with drink and darts!

Love the picture: poster for a children's musical, "Who poo'd on my head?"
Also, that's another cool one with the cement blocks, which look like humongous jacks, on the beach.
Must have been a fun rip roaring time.
