a word on diet...

a friend told me that a group of people have this theory/philosophy on diet.
it is been said that (wo)man is made from the clay of the earth and so that when one retuns to this land, they may feast upon its fruits. In fact when that person returns to the motherland, the food actually tastes better because of that internal connection between the earth of the body and the earth from which the food came.

i find this amazing as i live by the idea that man is of the earth...
but secondly, because my appetite has become voracious while i have lived here in korea. i eat things that i would never touch such as mushrooms and cooked fish (i always liked raw fish).

i suppose a part of it is my open-ness to try new things as i am in new place, but that wouldn't explain why i would actually like it, opposed to trying it to realize that i still didn't like it.

this philosophy also explains the little belly that i'm started to get...although i could come up with some other explanations for that ;)

ha ha ha...maybe the belly comes with age. maybe it's a sign of how wise we are. or...not...
